The Healing Word Ministries, Inc. emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. Bringing Change

The Healing Word Ministry is a national and international missionary ministry reaching out to the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. As Jesus told His disciples in Mark 16:15, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.”

The Healing Word is a ministry of the Largo Community Church, which is located in Mitchellville, Maryland.  It was founded by Rev. H. Jack Morris, D.Min, Pastor.


This outreach ministry began in June 1972, making available the Word of God through media for those who are unable to go to church as well as having an open door to our community to freely come and grow in spiritual maturity.

The Healing Word can be heard on WAVA 105.1 FM, Monday-Friday at 9:30 p.m. and on Saturdays at 10:00 p.m.
